A Quiet Heart
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
A quiet heart embraces the tranquility of life.
It is someone that communes with nature and avoids strife.
It is a heart that nurtures love and peace in all of us,
A heart that helps and provides assistance without any fuss,
It is someone that cares when others do not care.
A quiet heart is someone who will always be fair.
When we are sad, they hold our hand and shed a tear.
They walk with us and ensure the path is clear.
When we are happy they enjoy a good laugh.
They help us walk a rose covered path.
Do we have what it takes to have a quiet heart?
Love will always play its part.
