Polenta Tex-Mex Flat Bread mix will make 4 5"-round flat breads as shown in the photo. Preparation time is 10 minutes and baking time in a microwave oven is 3-4 minutes for each piece of flat bread.

Begin by mixing all of the ingredients together, and then spreading 1/4 of the mix on each of 4  microwaveable side plates.

Place one of the plates in the microwave oven for 2 minutes, watching it carefully the first time you make these polenta tex-mex flat breads so that they don't over bake. If the flat bread is firm enough to flip over with a spatula, do so, and bake the other side for 15-30 seconds. If the flat bread is too soft to flip over, then bake a little longer until it is firm enough, then bake the other pieces the same way.

Serve and enjoy as is, or use the flat bread pieces to make a sandwich, or cut into wedges for  your favorite dip.

Vegan FlagThe above recipe is in keeping with God's creation intent (Genesis 1:29-31): 'Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-- everything that has the breath of life in it-- I give every green plant for food." And it was so. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.' (NIV) Let no animal suffer or die that we may live!
