Towards the end
of the thousand years
Imagine! All these billions of people have been living in Utopia for a thousand years no wars, no sickness, no death, no grief and no debts just no worries of any sort. All they had to do was obey the laws of the King which laws were not irksome except (for some) maybe the trip to Jerusalem once a year to pay homage to their Messiah and give 10% (a tithe) of their bountiful bounty to the Priests who have no land but care for the spiritual needs of the whole population. Every family has to do this or face retribution, but when you look at it in the light of present day taxation, 10% is not much, when there are no other taxes of any sort no loans no insurance no prisons no police no maniacs in cars not even any rates or phone bills. But! Where in all this is theDEVIL?
The Devils whereabouts
You remember that the Devil possessed the body of Gog (the upstart dictator who was going to annihilate any form of religion); but when Gogs body was killed, the Devil was left bodiless, and before He had time to commandeer another suitable body:-
Revelation 20:1 "And I saw an Angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."
So! For all this thousand years of Utopia, the Devil has been imprisoned, which is why there has been no thorns, weeds, sickness or adversity of any kind. And then! The Devil is loosed again let out of His prison free once more to deceive the masses and promise them things which He knows will harm them and once again cause world wide conflict.
Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired. Satan shall be loosed out of his prison."
Why does Christ let the Devil free?
Our Lord has several reasons for freeing the Devil: firstly to find out if the vast numbers of the peoples of the earth have learnt their lesson about war, greed, envy, jealousy and general strife, because for athousand years there has been no different racial traits, colours, creeds, or languages.
God changed the racial traits of mankind at the tower of Babel at the same time as He changed their languages.
Genesis 11:9 "Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."
Which does not only mean lips, but is translated in other places as brink, edge, brim, shore, extremity, outer band, bank, binding, border so although the translators translatedsaphah language in this particular verse, it can also mean outer covering or surface. So! It is absolute logic to accept that God not only confounded their language at the tower of Babel but also the colours and contours of their skin or outer covering; which fact is in complete accord with Gods purpose to scatter the rebellious people to the ends of the earth.
Now! At the beginning of thisthousand years Christ changes them all back.
I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one consent."
Zephaniah 3:8 " For all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
9 For then (at the beginning of the thousand years) will
Meaning change, be turned back again, overturn.
Translated in other places as clear, bright, purge out.Language is in all instances saphah meaning outer covering or surface as well as lip so all racial differences are changed back to one pure race. In other words, our Lord is reversing the actions that He took at the tower of Babel and the mark of Cain, so there can be no excuses of racism, prejudice or misunderstanding.
Secondly! Our Lord wants to find out which peoples (if any) will fall again to the Devils temptations, and thirdly to see if the Devil himself has acquired any contrition during His thousand years in prison.
The great and terrible finale
Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to decaive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
Here is one of the most terrible situations imaginable. Billions upon billions of people have lived in idealistic circumstances for a thousand years, and then as soon as Satan appears on the scene again, great numbers of the people turn once again against their Saviour, King and Creator: only this time is the last time, for almighty God Himself sends heavenly fire upon them and completely destroys them all. This awful rebellion against Christ at the very end time on this earth is what is referred to in Daniel 12:2not Daniel 12:1, which is recorded below first.
Daniel 12:1 "And at that time shall Michael (the archangel) stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of Thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."
It is perfectly clear that this verse 1 refers to the holocaust at the beginning of the thousand years, and to the chosen elite written in God's book of life who rise up to meet our Lord in the air.
However! Verse 2 refers to an entirely different resurrection and vastly different people.
Daniel 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." (See appendix J).
This verse could not possibly refer to the chosen ones spoken of in verse 1, because there is no way that any of the chosen ones will "rise to shame and everlasting contempt". NO! These who are raised in verse 2, aresome of the Israelites we studied earlier that were recreated, and the ones who are raised to face "shame and everlasting contempt" are those who live through the thousand years of peace and plenty and partake of all the knowledge and blessings, as well as a large section of the greatly multiplied remnant of the Heathen nations, then! At the end of it all they rebel against their Savior and King, siding with Satan and his demons in His last great effort to conquer Christ and God and those who remain faithful to our Lord including the angels which did not rebel – these are the rebellious multitudes who will forever be regarded with shame and everlasting contempt – even by repatriated demons who never had the opportunity to understand God's love like these Israelites and other nations had.
The Israelites and others who do not rebel but are faithful, loyal and true – who are called the 'camp of the Saints' are those who go on to physically populate the renewed physical universes (studied in appendix J).
ON TO ETERNITY
Ecclesiastes 7:1 "A good name (with our Lord) is better than precious perfume; and the day of one's death is better than the day of one's birth."
