ACTION

The PZP birth control vaccine is an important tool for keeping wild horses on the range and stopping removals. But ranchers and others are now fighting against the use PZP, even though it has been used safely and effectively for decades on wild horses and other wildlife species to manage population growth in the wild.

Please take a stand today to support humane management of the Fish Creek wild horses and demand the return of the 186 horses to the range.

INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS

Ending the removal of wild horses and burros from our public lands and Keeping Wild Horses Wild and Free is what we fight for everyday. The PZP birth control vaccine is an important tool for keeping wild horses on the range and stopping removals. But ranchers and others are now fighting against the use PZP, even though it has been used safely and effectively for decades on wild horses and other wildlife species to manage population growth in the wild.

Ranchers in Eureka County, Nevada are attempting to block a humane Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plan to manage the wild horses of the Fish Creek Herd Management Area (HMA) with birth control instead of mass removals. To date, the ranchers have prevented the BLM from releasing 186 wild horses -- including 104 mares who have been given the PZP vaccine -- back to the HMA. These ranchers want wild horses permanently removed from the public lands and slaughtered. Please take a stand today to support humane management of the Fish Creek wild horses and demand the return of the 186 horses to the range.

Please make your voice heard today...Time is running out for the Fish Creek horses!

Thank you for everything you do for animals!
