From Shelley - 6 Oct 2007 These photos are shocking and very sad. How are zoos and trainers allowed to treat these animals in this fashion. It makes me want to cry out for them. My sister is a true lover of elephants and I know it would shock her to see this behavior happening. There are things in life that one accepts and there are things we don't accept, this is one we should never accept. Please send more info if you have it. Shelly
Dear Shelly: The animal exploitation industries go to great lengths to conceal this kind of mistreatment from the public. This is why it is so important for all of us to expose these things to every one we can.
