From Dasha - 9 Dec 2007 I was reading your website and wholeheartedly agree with what you're
saying; it's disgusting and sick that human beings cause such pain and
cruelty to animals, and this is an issue that needs to be stopped
immediately. I have a question about your site, though. You feature a section of pictures of these tortured animals; for example,
of the man dragging the sheep to be killed, the sheep being killed, its poop
on the ground next to it, etc. What I'd like to know is where and how you obtained these pictures. Doesn't the fact that you have them mean that someone working under you, or some photographer, or someone, literally stood by and watched this happen? Who took these pictures, and if they truly and honestly cared about the animals, why did they stand by and watch this disgusting murder being committed? I'd greatly appreciate if you could write back. Sincerely, Dasha
Dear Dasha: Thank you for writing and for you encouraging comments about our web
site. It is very difficult to get these undercover photos and videos, and it is often dangerous and illegal, so the photographers have to be extremely careful, or their evidence would not get out to the public, and the killing would just continue after they were arrested. Raising public opinion to speak out against these atrocities is the most successful way of ending the suffering.
