Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Jennie - 14 Dec 2007
How can we stop this atrocity? I am sure this sort of thing goes on all over the world, I just don't understand why. There has to be someone/something that can be done to prevent any of this cruelty from ever happening again.
None of Gods creatures were put on this earth to be treated in this way. Where does “man” get this need to act in this barbaric way? I have found in my life that people who are cruel to animals are usually cruel to the human race as well and this is usually a learned behavior passed from parent to child. All children should be given a pet to care for and to love and usually that promotes a love of all creatures.
I can barely write this through the tears I am shedding from those horrible raccoon dog images I have just seen. Those images will stay with me for a long time, probably the rest of my life. Those poor, poor innocent little creatures who have done nothing to be treated like that except to be born.
I don’t normally feel or believe in hate, but I think that is what I am feeling for the people who are responsible for this and other like torture. I want to give them a taste of what they are inflicting. There has to be an answer, a way to put an end to this.
We have been working for many years to help end the suffering in this
world, and agree that it does begin in early childhood and with the parents,
but it also continues into our schools. It begins with the animal flesh and
bodily secretion industries who sell their produce with the lie of cutesy
pictures of happy animals, instead of the absolute horror that these animals
are subjected every day, and parents and teachers but into it. We tell youth
the truth about how we get our bread and veggies, but tell them lies about
the suffering food animals. Almost all children are born with a sense of
empathy, and if they knew the truth they would never eat or wear any animal
We need to start telling the truth, and showing the truth in all its gory details until our society stops its sociopathic behavior. Please help by spreading the word to as many people as you can.
