From Jean - 20 Feb 2008 I just finished looking at the photo gallery of exploited dogs. I'm still shaking and I'm having trouble typing this. Can you please tell me how I can help to stop things like this from happening? Where can I send letters of protest? What about letters to other countries? I am vegetarian and my canine companions are both spayed. I became vegetarian after seeing a picture of a dog that a lady was hanging to death so that it could later be eaten. I think that it was only then that I truly realized what I was doing when I ate meat. Thank you,
Jean Dear Jean: Thank you very much for writing and for wanting to help. The most important things we can do to help end these atrocities is to
expose the truth to as many people as we can, and to encourage them to the
same and to speak out and demand an end to animal exploitation. The most
effective letters are usually the ones that speak to current issues and they
