Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Carol - 9 Apr 2008
Why aren't the people who do this in jail?
I was searching for a verse I read in a hospital gift shop. I was looking for the complete verse and it is something like this: "To see the soul of an animal you have but to look in his eyes" ... or "You only have to look into the eyes of an animal to see its soul." I thought it was such a moving statement. There is such sorrow in the eyes of these poor pitiful animals that I just saw on your website. I am so sorry for their pain and humiliation. Can anything be done to stop this?
We must respect the feelings of all living creatures and teach our children that all living things have worth and purpose in the world.
Thank you very much for writing and for your concern and desire to help.
The pressure from public opinion has been working to some degree, and we
need a lot more. Please tell as many other people as you can, and refer them
to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
Also please take a look at www.all-creatures.org/articles/act.html for more things that we can all do.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
