From Michelle Herrald - 19 Apr 2008 I already knew of this cruelty but forced myself to watch all those vulgar clips and I'm still shaking. I love animals so much. I wish I could go and make those horrible excuses for people suffer just as bad, but I know I would get killed myself if I went over there because I wouldn't be able to control myself. I am a vegetarian ... how couldn't I be? Those people just can't even have a conscience. I am still crying and screaming inside. I wish that God would see there was enough of us so we could take control. I could go on and on but I'll do that in places where people need to realize that everything doesn't come off a supermarket shelf and maybe open some peoples' eyes to what a disgusting barbaric world is out there.
Michelle Herrald Dear Michelle: Thank you for writing back. You have come to the right conclusion. It doesn't work to vent your anger
in violent ways. Violence only promotes more violence. The key to getting to
these people is to embarrass them publicly by turning public opinion against
them. We need to politely and peacefully turn public opinion against the
animal exploiters. We also pray and question why God doesn't bring an end to all this suffering, now. The only answer is that we (those of us with empathy) have been given that task, just as we are told in Romans 8:18-23. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
