From Caterina - 12 Jun 2008 I just can’t believe this happens! How can someone not appreciate how horrible it is to never move, stand up, see light, and have something taken from you day after day. I don’t care to know the reasons (cultural differences), there are no excuses for this treatment. I would rather die than do this to an animal. There are a lot of animals that I don’t consider pets, but knowing that these are the kind of practices used on them I would stop using any products associated with this kind of pain. To ignore it is just as bad! Thank God for people like Jill Robinson all the animal welfare organizations out there. Pictures do speak a thousand words. I have cried many nights over what I’ve seen. Most people pray for world peace, but right now my prayers are for all the animals that are taken captive, treated mercilessly, tortured, beaten, starved, and killed for entertainment ... the list goes on and on. It breaks my heart to know that so much evil is out there.
Caterina Dear Caterina: Thank you very much for writing. We feel the same way, and that's why we stopped eating, wearing, or using
any animal products. Please tell as many other people as you can, and encourage them to also demand an end to all animal exploitation and use. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
