Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
S. Radford about Raccoon Dogs - 11 Aug 2008
I am truly disgusted that human beings have reached such a low. I only
hope if there is a God that one day those evil-doers will be punished in the
worst possible way for their wickedness. They clearly 'enjoy' the
indescribable torture they inflict on those poor, helpless creatures.
There is no excuse for skinning those poor animals alive, that is
completely wrong. I watched the Channel 4 documentary in the UK recently
entitled, 'Kill it, Skin it, Wear it' about the fur trade. Up until then, I
was aware countries such as China treated animals very badly but I had no
idea about the sadistic Chinese fur farms, I was in tears after watching a
video on a website, showing what goes on, on these farms.
But I fear that for all the campaigning and pleas to China to stop treating their animals in such inhumane ways, it falls on deaf ears. The mentality of the Chinese people is highly questionable, since learning about China's fur farms, I am going to make a conscious effort not to purchase any goods from China nor eat Chinese food anymore, I do want to support a country which commits such terrible atrocities.
Thank you very much for your comments and concern.
You are probably correct that China won't listen unless it hurts them in the pocket book, so the thing we should concentrate on is convincing people not to buy, wear, or eat the tortured remains of any animal. There are more than enough alternatives in the world.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
