In this section are copies of original works of art. All of them are dedicated to helping us live according to unconditional love and compassion, which is the foundation of our peaceful means of bringing true and lasting peace to all of God's creatures, whether they are human beings or other animals.

The genus, Glaucidium, is world wide in distribution, and this is one of
the more widely distributed species, found from the extreme southern U.S.
(Arizona at the Mexican border) south through Central America, deep into
South America, as far south as Bolivia and Argentina.
I have shown the northernmost subspecies in this little study, done approximately life-size, in acrylics on compressed hardboard.
These little owls are sometimes active in daylight, especially dull days, and prey upon large insects, small lizards and small snakes and birds and mammals.
