From Coalition to Barn Horse Drawn Carriages
April 27, 2014

A horse named Spartacus was spooked by a bus on Wednesday evening April 23rd. As reported in The Gothamist: the carriage drivers claim that the carriage wheel got entangled with the wheels of another.

Such spin. This is the truth. If Spartacus spooked due to a bus, tried to run away and fell over - HORSES SHOULD NOT BE IN TRAFFIC AND THE TRADE NEEDS TO BE BANNED.

But if the carriage wheels got entangled, it means that THE DRIVERS ARE INCOMPETENT AND BAD HORSEMEN, DROVE MUCH TOO CLOSE AND THE TRADE NEEDS TO BE ABOLISHED.

So matter what happened, this inhumane and unsafe business must be shut down. Horses falling over on the street like that is simply not acceptable.

They say that Spartacus was fine. But we do not buy for a minute that Spartacus was not bruised from his fall with the carriage landing on him.
