The stakes couldn't be higher for the Nov. 6 election.

This is our best chance to stop the Trump administration's disastrous environmental agenda. But that's not enough. If we're going to enact real change — to benefit wildlife, people and the planet — we need to elect better leaders. We need people who will stand against corporate polluters and stand for clean air, clean water, wildlife protections, public lands and oceans, and a livable climate for all.

The Center Action Fund, the political action arm of the Center for Biological Diversity, is working to advance elected officials who will fight for what's right. Our new wildlife, public lands and clean air scorecards will help you understand how members of Congress voted on key issues. We've also endorsed more than 100 environmental champions in the U.S. House of Representatives and are engaging in key ballot initiatives where we have an opportunity to strengthen environmental policies.

We created the Center Action Fund for an important reason: The future of the planet ultimately depends on people who have the backbone and morals to do what's right. That includes our elected officials — and we simply have to get more environmental champions into our state, local and federal offices.

Please vote Nov. 6. There's too much riding on this election to sit out.
