ABBA BINA AND A BEHEMOTH

Submitted by
Yuri Klitsenko, Russia

And a huge beast - a behemoth obeyed St. Bina. On a bank of the river where abba Bina lived alone there were fields of local residents. Once someone started destroying crops. Concerned farmers came to the saint asking for help. Then abba Bina stood on the river bank and said in a silent voice:

- In the name of Jesus Christ I order you not to devastate local fields any more!

Suddenly a huge behemoth appeared from the water. Looking at the saint he nodded his head as a token of consent and went downstream. He was no longer seen in those places.

Yuri Klitsenko is a Russian living in Moscow.  He works for the Russian Orthodox Church.
