rf-stmelangell-01_small.jpgSt. Melangell's shrine is interesting for the Russian Church. I spoke with the Bishop of Vladimir diocese, where St. Fevronia's shrine is located. Bishop invites pilgrims to visit St. Fevronia's shrine in Murom.

My task is to inform nuns in Murom about St. Melangell's shrine and to deliver pictures of St. Melangell (To enlarge the painting of St. Melangell and his hare, click on the image or link).

The Russian Orthodox Church arranges ecological conferences and festivals there every year.

Yuri Klitsenko is a Russian living in Moscow.  He works for the Russian Orthodox Church.
