(06:45) This video from Showing Animal Respect and Kindness (SHARK) shows the realities of events organized around shooting pigeons for "fun and entertainment."
Pigeons are trapped from cities or raised like battery chickens and are then used to merely be shot as they are tossed in front of "shooters." Thousands of pigeons may be slaughtered in a single day.
When the wounded birds are left on the "field," they are rounded up by children whose job it is to "round up" and "trash" the birds.
The children's abuse of these birds, their laughing disdain at continuing to hurt these birds, laugh at their deaths is horrific.
