Police Dog "Training"?

(02:51) It's important for the safety of everyone involved, including the dogs, that they are extremely well-trained if they are going to be used in law enforcement.

All-Creatures.org does not approve of using animals period, but if they are to be used, what kind of "training" is acceptable? How common is this kind of training? It's worth investigating. Will you take that on with your local law enforcement?
