Happy Thanksgiving!

You are welcome to attend a “Living Thanksgiving” …no dead animals on this table!

In association with the Berkshire Vegan Network, there will be a Vegan Thanksgiving Celebration held

Thanksgiving Day
Thursday, November 27, 2014
United Methodist Church Of Lenox
6 Holmes Road
Lenox MA. 01240
Dinner will begin at 1:00.

Each person is asked to bring a vegan dish that will serve 10. Attaching the recipe would be great! Please bring an offering free of all animal products, including cheese, eggs and all dairy.

We encourage you to bring a card listing the ingredients. Please bring your own plate, eating utelsils and drinking cup.  Coffee/tea and hot/cold water will be provided.

After the dinner…there will be a voluntary share  time for people to read a poem, tell a short story, or tell why they are thankful.

Our guest speaker is Lisa Robinson-Redd, co-owner and co-founder of the Red Robin Song Vegan Guest House.  Along with her partner, Jeff Redd, they founded The Red Robin Song Guest House. It is is a vegan bed & breakfast nestled in the hills on the New York side of the Berkshires. Their exclusive grounds are surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest and offer 85 acres of private hiking and snowshoeing trails.  They also operate the Red Robin Song Animal Sanctuary and Beaver Rescue Center.

Lisa will tell a story of the events and people that lead them to the vegan life-style they now lead, the founding of their B&B, and more on their animal sanctuary and beaver rescue project.

Please join us for this up-lifting celebration of kindness, compassion and thankfulness.
