The Berkshire Vegetarian Network Announces a Vegetarian Potluck "Living
at 1:00 PM, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2010
at the United Methodist Church Of Lenox, 6 Holmes Road, Lenox, MA 01240
The program will feature Frank L. Hoffman, who with his wife Mary, administrate the Frank & Mary Hoffman Foundation, and host numerous animal-oriented, vegetarian and spiritual websites at www.all-creatures.org Frank is a popular Speaker at many National Vegetarian Conferences.
All seats MUST have a reservation (space is limited), and must contact Melissa Campbell at: 413-684-0176 or MCAMPBELL25@nycap.rr.com This event is expected to sell out. Please reserve early.
Each person is asked to bring a dish that will serve 10 and have it clearly marked vegan or vegetarian. You are most encouraged to bring a vegan dish (free of all animal products). Attaching the recipe would be great! Also bring your own place setting and utensils. Coffee and hot/cold water will be provided.
After the dinner… there will be a voluntary share time for people to read a poem, tell a short story, or tell why they are thankful.
Frank L. Hoffman, along with his wife, Mary have vowed a life dedicated to furthering a cruelty-free lifestyle for all of God's creatures, whether human or non-human. They believe in both human and animal rights as a God given gift of creation. And in this endeavor, they strive to protect the environment as a heritage to all future generations. As a Jewish-United Methodist Pastor (retired), Frank has volunteered his time for many years in both prisons and churches. The Mary T. and Frank L. Hoffman Family Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable corporation Working for a Peaceful World for Humans, Animals and the Environment.
The Berkshire Vegetarian Network is a non-profit organization which strives to educate, inspire, and empower people to move towards a plant-based diet, promote healthy people within a healthy planet, and to take compassionate action for all life on earth.
Please join us for this up-lifting celebration of kindness, compassion and thankfulness, while experiencing the most eco-friendly and most low-carbon way to dine.
There will be a fee of $6.00 for adults, and $3.00 for kids 3-12.
