Animals as Food
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 27 Sep 2006
Dear Scott:
Thank you very much for writing and telling us about your farm. If all animals were raised as you raise them, we probably wouldn’t have started our campaign against the exploitation of animals. Today, however, we’re against all use, exploitation, and destruction of animals, because the public doesn’t differentiate, and as you say, farms like yours are few and far between. We hope you understand. There is just too much suffering in the world.
We do have a couple of questions for you. When you field kill an animal, is it out of sight of the other animals?
We have also noticed that animals deeply mourn the loss of a companion. Have you noticed any of this on our farm?
We look forward to hearing back from you.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
