Hi Karolin:
He is relying on the Law which was given to the corrupt Hebrew people to limit their ungodliness and hopefully lead them back to the Lord’s heavenly will.
The Bible also tells us that the Law will not get us into heaven; our salvation is through our repentance and God’s grace.
Our suggestion is stop responding to him.
