Wow!!  What a well done study!  I am impressed!!  This is exactly why you can't blame Christianity for elements of it that seem unjust.  When it's likely that it is our understanding of His Word that is incorrect, not that the Word is unjust.

Wait a minute though...what about the repeated Biblical reference to Jesus as a "Lamb"
