God's Hunters?

In Reference to the Article: God's Hunters?

Dear Joe:

Thank you for responding.

You speak about truth and reality, but at the same time you seem to be twisting reality. You refer to plants and animals as living things, as if they were the same, rather than the way the Bible teaches us that both humans and animals are living beings or souls (neh-fesh khah-yaw), and that both were to eat plants, because as we both know only living beings are sentient and can feel pain; while plants cannot. So, in your argument you deny or discount the fact that you are inflicting pain, suffering, and death.

We have been eating only plant foods for nearly a quarter century and we are healthier than we were before (so much for having to eat dirt). Please take a look at our recipe section, and you might even enjoy some of them. http://www.all-creatures.org/recipes.html

Just because some animals kill other animals, is no reason for humans to do so.

You seem to compare your killing to being a kind of sacrifice, and you just said that God was please with the shedding of Jesus' blood, yet at the same time you seem to fail to recognize that Jesus was the final sacrifice, and that there is no need for further bloodshed. Jesus' blood accomplished it all.

If Jesus commanded us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48), and to pray for His heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10), where there is no death, then why are you promoting death instead of promoting living in God heavenly will, and help free creation for its present suffering and corruption (Romans 8:18-23)?

We look forward to hearing back form you.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
