In Reference to Barberry, Common (Berberis vulgaris L.) - Flowering Trees and Shrubs of Sleepy Hollow Lake

Dear Krista:

Thank you very much for your kind comments about our web site.

The Common Barberry (Berberis vulgaris L.) that you are referring to grows wild here in Upstate New York. It is a native of Europe, and we know of no place that sells them. We also have a yellow flowered Japanese barberry that gets red berries in the fall. We believe you can buy these in a plant nursery.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
