What was the Bible's first commandment?

In the beginning (Genesis) God's first law was:

"Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food."

Go ahead. Say a prayer. Ask for a favor when you need one. Then ask yourself this question. Why should God listen to a man in need after that man arrogantly ignores God's primary health directive?
