In China, dogs and cats are brutally killed and sometimes skinned alive so that their fur can be made into clothes, fashion accessories, and toys.
This fur is often deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species (other times mislabeled as imitation fur) which is exported to countries throughout the world to be sold to unsuspecting customers in retail stores.
