Pastor Frank Discusses Spiritual Circumcision

For today’s episode, vegan Pastor Frank addresses circumcision of the heart. In Romans 2:28-29, Paul explains that a true worshiper of God is not one who has physically "gone through the ceremony of circumcision”, but someone “whose heart is right with God.” “True [spiritual] circumcision is... a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.” “People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). The Holy Spirit guides us and purifies our hearts. By listening to God’s “still small voice”, we can overcome sin and evil inclinations. If we’re repentant and willing to let God remove the things that are not of God from our lives, He will help us. He longs to help us. This is part of our spiritual circumcision. Will we follow worldly living or godly living? Every day we are presented with numerous choices that move us closer to or further away from God. When we allow ourselves to be spiritually circumcised, we are purifying ourselves and choosing the Spirit over our flesh. Listen to learn more.
