Today, a new Christian who is also a new vegan asks Vegan Pastor Frank: How will God forgive us for our terrible torment of the creatures? Pastor Frank encourages this caring new Christian by reminding us that one’s heart must be repentant and forgiving. We must look to God to give us the power to overcome the evil of this world so that we do not fixate on or become incapacitated by depression concerning the pain and suffering of the creatures.
Our own power is not strong enough to do this, and the world wants us to fail and be ineffective in our faith-based, ethical vegan witness. But God’s power can help us stay fixed on His will — a will of love and compassion — and the knowledge that the Peaceable Kingdom is coming. God can change any heart. We must put our faith and trust in Him, living a lifestyle today as if it were already tomorrow’s Peaceable Kingdom — on earth as it is in heaven.
