No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Disease Mongering – 20 June 2006

“…disease mongering is the selling of sickness that widens the boundaries of illness and grows the markets for those who sell and deliver treatments.”

This definition of “disease mongering” is from the Public Citizen’s May 2006 Health Letter. Their excellent lead article “The Fight against Disease Mongering” is reprinted from PLoS Medicine, an online medical journal. See:

In previous Blogs, I have tried to raise awareness of the scandal of “disease mongering” that has taken hold of society, and have tried to show how well-meaning people are duped into working toward their own detriment.

I believe that in addition to waking up to the fact that they are being insidiously manipulated for profit by disease mongering, if people make the transition to a vegan lifestyle, they will benefit beyond their fondest expectations.
