No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

 


Computer Games – 5 July 2006

I’ve been so busy lately trying to counter the horrors of this world that I haven’t taken a break to play computer games. So today, after a long hiatus, I played FreeCell and Spider Solitaire. I’d almost forgotten how much fun these games can be and how they help to clear my mind so that I can go back to my work with renewed vision. Occasionally, I also used to enjoy Hearts, Solitaire, and Pinball.

To paraphrase the old saying, all work and no play makes Jill a dull girl. So – I’m going to start reminding myself to have a bit of fun!
