Addiction to Evil

Addiction to Evil – 12 June 2007

If you think that “addiction to evil” is some sort of exaggeration or perhaps true of only a small minority of people in the world, think again.

How else can you describe the widespread, gleeful eating of live, sentient creatures in Asian countries? With the huge array of fruits and vegetables readily available in their markets, why do they insist on their ungodly torture of those who cannot speak or defend themselves?

And why would some twisted sickos from the West choose to wallow in these abominations, praising them, and encouraging the perpetrators? Why do these sickos “bend over backwards” to excuse the evil doers with the whitewash of “culture” and “tradition”?

Isn’t there enough evil in this fallen world without deliberately trying to justify, perpetuate, and even to contaminate more of earth’s humans by introducing “cuisine” that is nothing but sadism and psychopathology?

Isn’t it interesting how those who are addicted to any sort of evil go out of their way to draw others into their criminal behavior? It’s past time for “telling it the way it is” and for ostracizing those who refuse to behave in a civilized manner.

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
