Organizations That Are Actually Pro-Hunting – 8 July 2007

Two days ago – 6 July 2007 – I wrote “Do You Support Animal Cruelty and Don’t Know It?” I mentioned some organizations that many people mistakenly support.

Today I want to mention the excellent work that Anthony Marr, founder of Heal Our Planet Earth (HOPE), is doing. See:

In Anthony Marr’s words, here is some very important information that donors need to know:

“Tons of animal-loving anti-hunting donors' hard-earned money and heart-given donations are pumped into pro-hunting and downright hunting organizations with names like the Audubon Society, the National Wildlife Federation, the Nature Conservancy, the Sierra Club, to name just a few. (At least the Safari Club International, the quintessential big-game hunters' club, of which both Presidents Bush, and VP Cheney on down, are members, is more honest with its self-indicting nomenclature.) Not only are vast financial resources injected into these imposter groups from the innocent animal-loving public, but the AR [animal rights] and AW [animal welfare] movements are deprived of these same resources in the process, so the damage done to the AR/AW [animal rights/animal welfare] movement is doubled.”

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
