"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same

called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Worldwide, livestock generate more greenhouse gases than all forms of transportation combined: 18 percent vs. 13 percent. If per your suggestion, each member eats one-quarter less meat for savings of $169 and collective greenhouse gas reduction of 1.9 million tons, just imagine the huge benefit (in savings, health, and environment) there would be if animal-derived products were eliminated.
As for that popular saying “everything in moderation,” according to former surgeon, researcher, and clinician at the Cleveland Clinic, Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., M.D. – author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease – in many cases “moderation kills.”
