No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Leaf Peeper’s Dream – 10 October 2008

Earlier on this gorgeous autumn day, my husband Frank and I took our canoe out on the lake. The bright sunlight brought out the beauty of the colors of the fall foliage to perfection – a true leaf peeper’s dream! And as though that were not enough, we saw a great blue heron on the shore, not far from our canoe, and then take off to fly over the lake. What a wonderful sight!
