Omniscientific Cosmology is
a new model of the Universe
that involves
the socio-biological sciences
as well as
the conventional astro-physical sciences
in its
construction.
The reason is that the biosphere
to which all life on Earth belongs
is an integral part of the Earth
which is a part of the Solar System
which is a part of the Milky Way Galaxy
which is a part of the Universe.
Since the part cannot be fully understood
without an understanding of the whole
and its part in this whole,
neither can humanity fully understand itself
without an understanding of the Cosmos
and its part in this Cosmos.
Thus, omniscientific cosmology is essential
for human self-understanding.
Omniscientific cosmology
yields new insights for answering
the ancient philosophical questions,
such as
the purpose of humanity,
the meaning of life,
the measure of morality,
the fate of the Earth,
the nature of the Tao,
even the
definition of God.

3-01. Exponential Cosmic Calendar
Where we humans are concerned, by far the most pivotal and momentous cosmic events that have occurred are: the rise of atomic matter (in the Cosmos, during the Big Bang), the rise of unicellular organisms (on Earth), the rise of multicellular organisms (metabionts, on Earth), the rise of societies of metabionts (e.g. insect societies, on Earth) and the rise of societies of animal societies (e.g. the human based cities and nations, on Earth). Timing-wise, these cosmic events occurred in the form of an accelerating exponential series. Is the timing in this series accidental? What does this series of cosmic events mean to us mundane humans? What does it portend for our future? What do they say about the human destiny?
3-02. Transcendent Integration
A metabiont (multicellular organism) is a society of cells. It is a product of primordial cellular organisms "transcendently integrating" themselves, a process involving coherence, specialization and cooperation, over millions of years. In doing so, they collectively underwent a massive and discontinuous leap in perception, intelligence and power, from those of several trillion independent unspecialized cellular organisms (e.g. plankton) to that of a single transcendently integrated metabion organism comprising several trillion coherent, specialized and cooperative body cells (e.g. a human).
3-03. Integrative Transcendence (I.T.)
Integrative Transcendence is the way by which the subatomic particles gave rise to atoms, and by which the atoms/molecules gave rise to cells, and by which the cells gave rise to metabionts, and by which the metabionts gave rise to tribes (incl. animal societies), and by which the human-based tribes gave rise to cities, and by which the cities gave rise to nations. Integrative transcendence is the way we came into being, and our only viable path into the future. I.T. is our destiny. We either continue the process, or we cease to exist.
3-04. Seven Levels of Organization
Earth comprises seven Levels of Organization - the Sub-Atomic, the Molecular, the Cellular, the Metabion, the Tribal, the Citian (from "city") and the National. The way by which a lower level gives rise to the next higher level is integrative transcendence. In this seven-level framework, all things on Earth are accounted for, and all things of Earth can find a meaningful place. Evolution occurs on all levels simultaneously - molecular evolution, cellular evolution, metabion evolution, social evolution... On the chemical and biological levels, Darwinian evolution is the rule; on the societal levels pertaining especially to human societies, Lamarckian evolution holds sway.
3-05. Winning Cosmic Chess
All levels of organization have given rise to higher levels, except one - the National Level of Organization, which at this point in time is still in a state of semi-disarray. Transcendent integration amongst the nations has begun, yet historical feuds still rage, and indeed threaten to engulf the globe. What must the national organisms do? What will the next higher level of organization be? How can it be realized? What would be the penalty if the attempt fails? To succeed, international transcendent integration is the key. The integrative transcendence of Planetary Organism Earth is the goal.
3-06. Interlevel Parallelism
There exist consistent parallelisms from level to level. By knowing what these interlevel parallelisms are, we can project the best future path for humanity and optimal future course in international affairs. Interlevel parallelisms come in big and small packages. By far the greatest of all interlevel parallelisms is the "O.S.E.S. Cycle of the I.T. Spiral", where O.S.E.S. stands for Organismization, Speciation, Ecosystemization and Socialization. O.S.E.S./I.T. is the backbone of the omniscientific cosmology.
3-07. The Savior Species
No doubt, Earth species Homo Sapiens has done damage to its own planet, but Homo Sapiens too has the nature-given power and self-taken responsibility to safeguard life on Earth from external threats (e.g. asteroid strikes), to generally stem and reverse the I.T.-retarding effects of entropy, and from our own potentially destructive selves. Even more essentially, Earth is at a level of development where further I.T. will require conscious and intelligent choices. In this, our species has a central, vital and crucial role to play in the integrative transcendence of planetary organism Earth.
3-08. Geo-Embryology
Earth is currently a "cosmic egg" on the verge of "hatching", but it may fail to do so. Its "geo-embryo" is the biosphere. Earth's own natural resources, notably minerals, the fossil fuels, hydro-electric potential, geo-thermal energy, etc., constitute the "yolk". The primary energy source for cosmic egg Earth's "incubation" is the Sun. The geo-embryo is multileveled in structure, and "metamorphosing" according to Earth's specific "cosmic gestation schedule". This schedule is predetermined by Earth's specific original physical properties.
3-09. Planetary Metamorphosis
Earth's geo-embryo has so far successfully undergone five stages of "planetary metamorphosis", and is now poised to undergo the sixth and last, when cosmic egg Earth will become planetary orgasm Earth, if successful. Cosmic egg Earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago. It's gestation period is 4.6 billion years. This means that the crucial point of planetary birth is at hand, which on the cosmic time scale may still be thousands of years in approximation. The nations are currently crossing from the Ecosystemization quadrant into the Socialization quadrant of the O.S.E.S. Cycle on the national level in the I.T. Spiral. If the nations one day succeed to collectively cross from the Socialization quadrant on the national level into the organismization quadrant on the level above - the Planetary Level - the integrative transcendence of the Earth would be complete. If not, planetary organism Earth would be still-born.
3-10. Planetary Psychosphere
Every sentient being has a "psychosphere". A psychosphere is ones sphere of perception and influence. Earth is a highly sentient being perception-wise, though, still being an "egg", its influence on its external environment is limited. Its psychosphere is the sum-total of those of every man, woman and child, and animal and plant, and nation and machine. Earth has 7 "spheres": the Pyrosphere, Barysphere, Lithosphere, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, Biosphere and Psychosphere. Earth's psychosphere is 15 billion lightyears in radius (range of Earth's own telescopes), and angstroms in resolution (power of Earth's own microscopes). Earth's knowledge embraces all libraries. Earth's mind encompasses the worldwide web. Compared to Earth, Venus and Mars have no psychosphere to speak of. Compared to a human, Earth is an embryonic goddess.
3-11. Cosmic Consciousness
Consciousness is the Yin of matter and inseparable from it. The neuronal circuitry is the memory. Like matter, consciousness, too, is multi-leveled:- sub-atomic/atomic/molecular proto-consciousness, cellular consciousness, metabion consciousness, tribal consciousness, citian consciousness, national consciousness and planetary consciousness. Our consciousness, too, is a product of multi-leveled transcendent integration of the original "elements of consciousness" inherent in the atoms and molecules. The integrative transcendence of matter and consciousness unfolds as an inseparable Yin/Yang dual. The I.T. Spiral is in fact not a single spiral, but a DNA-like matter/consciousness double helix, whose ultimate goal is to produce the Cosmos-wide, integratively transcended, Universal Consciousness.
3-12. The Mystery of Mysteries
A different "twin paradox" logically demonstrates the existence of the soul, whose nature, other than its apparent independence from matter, alas, appears scientifically unfathomable. Along with what lies before and beyond the Universe, the nature of the soul, especially regarding the "afterlife", remains a mystery of mysteries.
3-13. Stairway to the Heavens
If/when cosmic egg Earth succeeds to integratively transcend itself into planetary organism Earth, what after that? One thing is for certain. As organisms do, planetary organism Earth will sooner or later reproduce. Her offspring planetary organisms - Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Io, Europa, Ganymede... - will speciate and eventually form an interplanetary ecosystem of planetary species/organisms within the Solar System. The Solar System will itself eventually undergo its own integrative transcendence among the stars, in the company of other integratively transcending or transcended solar systems - all abiding by the O.S.E.S. Cycle of the I.T. Spiral, in the Heavens as on Earth. O.S.E.S./I.T. - the Way of the Cosmos - is a universal phenomenon.
3-14. A New Theology
In the Universe, there are cosmic eggs great and small. A planet is a small cosmic egg. A solar system is a greater one. A galaxy is a greater one still. The greatest cosmic egg of all - the ultimate cosmic egg in the entire Universe - is the Universe Itself. The ultimate and inevitable fruit of transcendent integration is the integratively transcended Universal Organism. So, at the end of this cosmic journey, we stop to reflect: What would this Universal Organism be like? By omniscientific reckoning, it is more than ten levels above a metabion organism. Considering that a metabion organism (e.g. a human) is only one level above a cellular organism (e.g. an amoeba), the Universal Organism can be considered omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, absolutely and literally. And we humans, together with all life forms throughout the Universe, past, present and future, of one level or another, are playing a miniscule yet profound role in the Universal Organism's own self-creation - by integrative transcendence naturally. Therefore, though we are mortal and temporal and earthly and human, and yet, we are divine.
