Feedback from the students of Worthington Kilbourne High School, Columbus, Ohio - September 28, 2006 - Educational Outreach: Secondary (High) Schools and Universities - Heal Our Planet Earth (HOPE) with Anthony Marr

I thought that the Tiger Man was a very interesting speaker. He educated us on how the tiger is an endangered species, and how if we do not do anything for them in the next 20 years, they will be extinct. He3 was very thorough on what he was saying; he was very passionate about what he was talking about. I didn�t realize how much humans have done to the tiger population, how we cut down their habitat and killed them just for sport.

Personally I though that the idea of ingesting the part of a tiger would cure you was stupid, but I still do not see why Mr. Marr went to the Chinatowns in New York and California just to buy them; because I think if the shops are out of tiger bones that they will just go out and kill more tigers to replenish their supply. (From Tiger Man � This shows good reasoning, but based on a false premise that was due to my not made my point clearly enough. I was not there to try to buy out the supply, but to show the public, though media � newspapers and TV - that these illegal substances are still being openly sold on store shelves. The public did get upset about it, and did press the government to crack down, and it did. The last time I check was in 2003, when I found no more of these items for sale.
