TOTAL VICTORY! No Girl Scout Duck Hunt

I just spoke with Rae Schopp. She happily announced to me that as of about an hour ago, the Minnesota chapter agreed to cancel THIS YEAR's duck shoot, and pledges to behave in the future. They have to refund the $19,000's donations, but wisely deem it less expensive than if the shoot were to go ahead. Rae said that I could tear up that media release I promised her for January 19 had the shoot not been cancelled by then. Anne's economic rocket hit the mark!

I commend the girl scouts of America for honoring their 3-Cs - Courage, Confidence and Character.
