4 team members wanted for Global Emergency
Operation (GEO) of Heal Our Planet Earth (HOPE)

www.HOPE-CARE.org ) needs a small team of about 4 team-members to work
with HOPE project director Taina Ketola to organize HOPE�s 6th Compassion
for Animals Road Expedition (CARE-6).
This tour, to cover 6 Canadian provinces and 24 US states, from June 30
through November 1, will be conducted solo by HOPE founder and president

As the name of CARE-6 suggests, Anthony Marr has conducted five of these
extended campaign tours in yesteryears � CARE-1 (2003 with Brenda Davis and
Cory Davis), CARE-2 (2004, solo), CARE-3 (2005, solo), CARE-4 (2006, solo)
and CARE-5 (2007, solo), all successfully. And the success goes also to the
dozens of local activists who hosted events, helped organize the tours, and
in doing so, helped form the Global Wildlife Alliance (GWA).
The CARE-Tour is a proven concept, a highly efficient way to bring local and
regional issues to national attention, and to rally grassroots groups to act
in concert on national and global levels. Now, CARE-6 goes one step further
and focuses on mass extinction due to habitat destruction and global
warming. One of its main objectives is to shut down the Alberta Tar Sands
within 3 years.
CARE-6 is the first of three parts pertaining to HOPE�s new 3-year campaign
titled Global Emergency Operation (GEO). The second part of GEO, CARE-7
(2009) will cover the western, central, southern and southeastern states,
and the third part (2010) will cover the rest of the world by air.
When Anthony arrives in a state, he will be engaged in one or more of the
following activities:
* Give a PowerPoint presentation sponsored and arranged by a local group
* Do a joint media event with a local group to launch the
Time-Capsule-of-HOPE-2060 of that state, and to bring the Global Green Fund
concept to public attention
* Assist local groups with their own campaigns and bring their local issues
to national attention
* Meet with local groups on participating in the Global Emergency Operation,
which indeed cannot succeed without worldwide participation.
And he will need:
* Local accommodation (usually at activists� homes; if not, inexpensive
motels) and local guidance
* Delicious and nutritious vegan food
* Donations to cover at least fuel cost to reach the next destination (as
with the other CARE-tours, Anthony will leave home with a personal credit
card in his pocket, one tank of gas in his car, and that�s it)
Just basically a warm welcome
This is an exciting project that may save your grandchildren from a fate
worse than death, about which you will tell your grandchildren with pride,
if we succeed. And for it to succeed it needs your help. And if you help,
you will find the experience greatly rewarding and highly educational in
terms of a training ground for activism like no other.
