Letter from Kaitlyn Fry about Advice on How to Help End Animal Abuse - 30 Jun 2006

I really appreciate your site because it shows just how heartless people could be!

If there is anyway that I can help, please let me know! I would love to write letters, but who do I write them too?

It just really sickens me how people could be so cold-hearted and could do this to an innocent animal that has done nothing wrong! Its just terrible!

So please send me some information on how I could help and actually make a difference, I would love to put forth my effort to make this stop.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Kaitlyn Fry

Dear Kaitlyn:

Thank you very much for writing and for your desire to help.

The critical and root problem behind animal abuse is that they are considered to be human property to do with as we please with no concern for the feeling of the other animals. Human beings need to face the fact that they don’t need animals for food, clothing, research, or entertainment. There are abundant other sources of meeting these needs.

It is also abundantly obvious that our present animal welfare laws, and the way they are enforced, are totally inadequate to protect the animals.

Animals deserve to have their God given right not to be subjected to human exploitation. These rights need to be established in both law and practice. So, whatever we do, say, or write should be geared in that direction.

To make this happen, we need to peacefully and politely talk to everyone we can, we need to be alert to abusive situations and write short and concise letters to the editor and to our elected representatives stating what need to be done to end the abuse and soliciting their help,

We would also like to publish any well written letter on our web site, so that other people can read them, and hopefully help us in our mutual effort.

We look forward to hearing from you again.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
