Letter from Cee: My Agony for the Animals - 9 Dec 2007

I sit here in agony and in tears for the animals who endure evil pain and suffering at the hands of humans.

I believe in the Word of God through Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

In viewing things on animal rights websites...such as PETA, HSUS, and yours...they expose such agony as the horror of skinning animals alive...I cry out to the Lord with questions of WHY? WHY? WHY? don't you strike down the evil-doers and stop them from their torturous cruelty to our innocent and defenseless creatures? To see the dogs alive face when its skin is pulled over its head...is beyond what I can endure emotionally. And what that dog's emotional agony? To see the dog move his or her head towards its body and realize that its skin is gone...while looking at the humans responsible...is an image that I pray to fade from my mind...but doesn't.

And that is regarding skinning! What about the dog/cat meat trade? What about the abuse and neglect of sheep for wool? What about dogs chained outside and left in the brutal weather? Their lonely and painful lives. What about the Oct 2007 expose of animal control workers throwing live dogs and cats off of a 50 ft bridge? The horrors of evil to animals go on and on...

Why Lord Jesus? Why let the innocent animals endure this horror? Why?

It is so terrible to hear PETA's President, Ingrid E. Newkirk speak on their HBO documentary of she being an atheist...because she can't understand how, in her view, a good God would allow such torture to our animals; innocent and defenseless creatures.

I am a very strong and committed believer in God through Christ Jesus. If I struggle in agony over the evil cruelty...with questions...it is no wonder to me how an atheist such as PETA's president does to.

What are the Biblical answers?

In Christ, for the animals,

Cee

Dear Cee:

Thank you for writing.

We struggle with these same questions, and pray for the Lord's return to put an end to all the suffering and to usher in His peace.

In the meantime, we who know the truth must continue to speak out. All through the Bible, God uses people to bring about Godly change. It's our calling.
