Carrie Prejean

With regard to Christians, the apostle Paul taught his followers to bless their persecutors and not curse them (Romans 12:14), to care for their enemies by providing them with food and drink (12:20), and to pay their taxes and obey all earthly governments (13:1-7). He mentioned giving all his belongings to feed the hungry (I Corinthians 13:3), and taught giving to the person in need (Ephesians 4:23). He told his followers it was wrong to take their conflicts before non-Christian courts rather than before the saints. (I Corinthians 6:1)

Paul taught that "it is good for a man not to touch a woman," i.e., it is best to be celibate, but because of prevailing immoralities, marriage is acceptable. Divorce is permissible in the case of an unbeliever demanding separation. (I Corinthians 7)

Paul repeatedly attacked sexual immorality. "This is God's will--your sanctification, that you keep yourselves from sexual immorality, that each of you learn how to take his own wife in purity and honor, not in lustful passion like the gentiles who have no knowledge of God." (I Thessalonians 4:3-5) Paul told his followers not to associate with sexually immoral people (I Corinthians 5:9-12, 6:15,18). He condemned homosexuality (Romans 1:24-27) and incest (I Corinthians 5:1).

"Make no mistake," warned Paul, "no fornicator or idolater, none who are guilty either of adultery or of homosexual perversion, no thieves or grabbers or drunkards or slanderers or swindlers, will possess the kingdom of God." (I Corinthians 6:9-10 [NEB])

Paul condemned wickedness, immorality, depravity, greed, murder, quarreling, deceit, malignity, gossip, slander, insolence, pride (Romans 1:29-30), drunkenness, carousing, debauchery, jealousy (Romans 13:13), sensuality, magic arts, animosities, bad temper, selfishness, dissensions, envy (Galatians 5:19-21; greediness (Ephesians 4:19; Colossians 3:5), foul speech, anger, clamor, abusive language, malice (Ephesians 4:29-32), dishonesty (Colossians 3:13), materialism (I Timothy 6:6-11), conceit, avarice, boasting and treachery. (II Timothy 3:2-4)

Paul told the gentiles to train themselves for godliness, to practice self-control and lead upright, godly lives (Galatians 5:23; I Timothy 4:7; II Timothy 1:7; Titus 2:11-12). He instructed them to ALWAYS pray constantly. (I Thessalonians 5:17)

Paul praised love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity, fidelity and gentleness (Galatians 5:22-23). He told his followers to conduct themselves with humility and gentleness (Ephesians 4:2), to speak to one another in psalms and hymns; to sing heartily and make music to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16)

Paul wrote further that women should cover their heads while worshiping, and that long hair on males is dishonorable. (I Corinthians 11:5-14) According to Paul, Christian women are to dress modestly and prudently, and are not to be adorned with braided hair, gold or pearls or expensive clothes. (I Timothy 2:9)

No one is denying Carrie Prejean the right to her beliefs, nor is anyone suggesting banning the Bible. But actions speak louder than words, and her actions reflect the double-standards that are typical of those claiming to be Christian.

Fornication is acceptable; same-sex relations are not. Wine is part of Christianity (and anyone that says otherwise is of the devil, a "Muslim," or both), marijuana is not. Secular arguments to convince non-Christians to protect the unborn are good politics, because secular arguments are religion-neutral and thus applicable to everyone, including atheists and agnostics... secular arguments to convince Christians to protect animals are met with the cry "MOVE"! Not harming or not killing the unborn is a Christian duty, whereas not harming or not killing animals is dismissed as "good work."

It’s my contention we Americans really live in a secular society; one in which people just pay lip service to religious ideals.

Isn't it time we ignore this attention seeking lying hypocrite? Let's review her amazingly hypocritical lying behavior:

1) When rumors of topless photos appear, she emphatically denies they exist. LIE - photos are released on the internet.

2) When photos are released, she claimed that she was underage when they were taken. LIE - the photographer date stamped all his photos, and the date on them made her 18 and 6 months.

3) When caught in a lie, she then claimed that it was only one time that she'd done that. LIE - a second set of topless photos from an entirely different photoshoot pop up on the internet.

4) When caught in a second lie, she claims that "the wind blew open my top". LIE - while a bit windy, you can clearly see that her top was undone to begin with, and in several of the topless photos, her hair is not wind blown at all.

5) She claims that she was fired from the tournament because of her religious beliefs. LIE - unlike others, she was given a second chance by Donald Trump, regardless of her religious beliefs. When she refused to meet the conditions of her contract with the tournament (publicity appearances, etc) because she claims she was too busy doing other things, she was terminated.

6) She claimed in previous press releases that she was a 100 percent natural woman; no plastic surgery for her. LIE - one of the demands of the tournament, as part of their counterlawsuit against her, is that she reimburse the tournament ~$5,200 for the money they loaned her so she could get breast implants for the tournament.

7) She's always claiming that she's being persecuted for her religious beliefs, she was wrongly terminated because of this, and that's why she sued the tournament. LIE - she sued them for over $1 million; it was a cynical cash grab.

8) She's always claiming that she is a moral, upstanding, born again Christian woman who is someone to be held up as an example. LIE - she made a porn video. Does any Christian think this is exemplary behavior?

9) finally, when confronted with her porn video, she indignantly claims "That's disgusting; that's not me!" LIE - the camera pans to her face, showing that it is indeed her. She immediately withdraws her money claims, knowing she's been shown to have lied in legal filings and depositions.

Carrie Prejean is a lying, scheming hypocrite. I hope the state of California & the beauty tournament continue with their countersuits, to retrieve the funds they've given her. She should be shunned by those who she's lied to and those she's taken advantage of. She needs to disappear and end her sanctimonious self righteous "they're out to get me" crap.
