Growing Aloe Indoors - 01
(Growing Aloe Indoors - 01) We like growing many different kinds of plants indoors. We have had these aloe plants for many years, but they never bloomed until we set the pot on the floor in front of a sliding glass door on the south-west side of our home. The sprouting flower stalk and conical shaped flowering head (tilted to the right) can be seen in the center of the photo.

Wikipedia says that aloe is a genus containing over 500 species of flowering succulent plants. The APG IV system (2016) places the genus in the family Asphodelaceae, subfamily Asphodeloideae.

Lamb-Right Lamb-Left Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation.  Just as we cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have lasting peace without love and compassion.  It is our hope and prayer that this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
