All of God's creatures have rights, a fact that most people don't seem to recognize.
This includes both human and non-human animals, but not all of them can speak for themselves.
Animal Cruelty
By Andrew Pell
We all love our cuddly pets.
When they are sick we take them to a vet.
There are other brothers and sisters born into a cruel existence.
They offer no resistance.
The animals are slaughtered so we may fine dine.
It doesn’t make humanity look very kind.
They live in fear and death they can smell.
All their emotions form one big swell.
They cry, but does anyone wipe their eyes.
Around their carcass are the swarming flies.
We preach love and enjoy the feast.
Ponder their miserable existence at the very least.
Look at alternative food and save a life today.
Practice love to our four footed friends this way.
