LOOK AT THIS FACE

Look at this face. What do you see?
A scared, young animal wanting to be
With brother and sister playing and free
From these torturous hands now holding me.
Placed in a cage, no room to move.
Waiting for slaughter to be someone’s food.
Laying here with tears in my eyes.
Wondering why I was born to die.
