All of God's creatures have rights, a fact that most people don't seem to recognize. This includes both human and non-human animals, but not all of them can speak for themselves.

Poor Souls

Everyday it makes me cry
To think of the poor souls that die
The suffering they go through
I think sometimes Ii feel it too
If I can pray everyday
that they will go to a better place
I think someday
I will smile, knowing that
those poor souls are happy at last
