Do you
shed a tear?
When an animal's death draws near?
I do
Do you suddenly cry?
Every time you hear of another that dies?
I do
Do you wonder why?
The innocent are sent to die?
I do
Do you wonder why?
At a babes first baby breath,
He is already condemned to death?
I do
Do you even pay attention?
To how the animal's deaths are never mentioned?
I do
Do you ever listen to?
The cries the animals cry to you?
I do
Do you even see how long?
This wrongness has been going on?
I do
