Easter / Resurrection Day Prayer

May the peace, love and compassion of Jesus Christ
rise in all hearts and souls
that we would no longer seek death
through war, capital punishment, and abortion,
as solutions to our problems;
and that we would no longer desire
to kill and eat another living being,
to satisfy our lusts.
May we truly be new creatures
in Jesus Christ our Lord,
and bring life where there was death.
