Dedicated to the Preservation and Restoration of the Whole of Creation
"And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day" (Genesis 1:31)
Bumble Bee on Begonia -
For the past several years we have been planting varieties of small begonias in
the window boxes on the deck sides of our home. Shortly after we planted our
flowers this year, this bumble bee came to investigate the new "goodies" we had
set out for her to enjoy. We hope you enjoy her visit as much as we did. So
often our fears of the unknown drive us to kill those God-created beings we
don't understand. For example, the last thing a bee wants to do is sting us, for
when it does, it usually dies. It only stings to protect the hive or its own
life. Because I was unthreatening, this bee let me get within a couple of inches
to take this photo.

Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation. Just as we
cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have
lasting peace without love and compassion. It is our hope and prayer that
this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that
we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
